        Fee Includes:

  • Tuition
  • Housing and board (breakfast and dinner) with a host family; lodging in dormitory also available for   additional fee
  • Bonn public transportation pass
  • Several day excursions and one multiday excursion to Munich, Stuttgart and Southern Germany.

Housing and Meals

Students live with host families to promote cultural immersion. The program fee includes accommodations (each student has his/her own room), breakfast and dinner with the host family, and a Bonn public transportation pass. Host families have extensive experience welcoming LMU students into their homes. Indeed, many students report living with a host family as one of the highlights of being abroad. Dorm lodging is possible for an additional fee.

  • 14 Introduction and orientation
  • 15-18 Classes**
  • 18 Welcome party
  • 19 Free day to explore Bonn & surrounding area***
  • 20 Rhine River excursion***
  • 21-24 Classes
  • 25-29 Long weekend (Friday 1 PM – Tuesday 11:45 AM)
  • 29-30 Classes
  • 31-June 4 Excursion to Munich, Stuttgart and Southern Germany

June

  • 1-4 Excursion to Munich, Stuttgart and Southern Germany
  • 5-6 Classes
  • 7-10 Long weekend (Wednesday 6PM – Monday 9:15 AM)
  • 11-15 Classes
  • 15 Farewell party
  • 16-17 Weekend in Bonn***
  • 18 Final Exams
  • 19 Departure
