Group Visits
The Admission Office can accomodate a limited number of group visits during the fall and spring semesters. A group visit consists of a tour of the LMU campus followed by an information session with an Admission Counselor.
It is the goal of the Admission Office at LMU to make group visits as productive and helpful to prospective students as possible. Group tours are given by LMU students who have been trained as tour guides and participate as members of the LMU Admission Team.
Scheduling guidelines
Requests for groups will be accomodated on a first-come, first-serve basis.
High school contacts will be notified shortly after the scheduling deadline whether their request can be accommodated or not.
Group visits can be scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 9am and 3pm during the fall and spring semesters.
Groups must consist of a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 50 students.
Groups must be made up of high school students. No middle school or elementary school groups can be accommodated.
It is best to call the LMU Admission office well in advance of your intended visit date, as space is very limited and quickly fills up. You can contact the Group Visit coordinator at 310.338.7396.
After scheduling a visit for your group, a confirmation letter with details about how to get to campus and where to meet your hosts will be mailed to you.
Guidelines for the day of your visit
There must be at least one chaperone for every 15 students.
Enter the campus via the Lincoln Blvd/LMU Drive entrance. Directions are available on our website.
Out of respect for the tour guide's class schedules, please arrive on time. Groups that arrive late may not receive a full tour.
Students should come prepared to give the LMU tour guides their full attention and be ready to ask relevant questions.
Group visits can be scheduled by contacting the Group Visit coordinator in the Admissions office at 310.338.7396 or emailing him at
