Welcome from the Director
A passionate conviction and a thriving community of scholars drive the mission of the Academic Community of Excellence (ACE). I believe that post baccalaureate preparation begins immediately and is largely dependent upon a student’s maximization of their undergraduate experience. But more important than a personal conviction is my belief in the God-given capacity of every ACE scholar. This ultimately drives my commitment to our mission of educating, equipping, and successfully transitioning our students into post baccalaureate life.
ACE scholars are truly the character and heartbeat of our program. Many have participated in innovative research projects, university fellows programs, internships, test prep courses, study abroad and alternative spring break experiences. Moreover, the vast majority is preparing for graduate and professional school entrance.
If you are an LMU faculty or staff colleague, I invite you to partner with us in this effort, and if you are an eligible student, consider applying for admission to the ACE Program.
