LMU Government Relations staff serves as liaison between LMU and government at the state, federal and community levels.

Working from offices in Los Angeles, CA we:

Inform the LMU community about relevant federal and state government actions.

Strive to influence such actions when the university's interests may be affected.

Review federal and state legislation, executive orders, and regulations, and assess their potential impact on the university community.

Represent LMU's interests to the legislative and executive branches of the federal, state and local governments.

Advocate on matters of importance to the higher education community and in support of LMU's educational, research and public service missions.

Work with communities that might be affected by LMU projects, gathering their input to ensure mutual success.

Work to place LMU students as interns in political offices.
