Fine Arts

The course of study for the Studio Arts Major nurtures the individual voice of each student which is inevitably linked to the broader concerns of our culture.

In whatever fashion future fine artists choose to divide their time and efforts, they will find in the spacious studios at Loyola Marymount University ample opportunity to explore a wide variety of artistic forms of expression; painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, and photography. The fine arts facilities in the Department of Art and Art History are some of the finest in Southern California; students who are registered for studio classes have 24 hour access during the academic year.
