JongHwa Lee, Ph.D., is a scholar of contemporary rhetorical theory and critical/cultural studies, with research interests in militarism and war crimes against women, the rhetoric of human rights/wrongs, scholarship and activism, and tourism and globalization. He has taught classes in communication theory, tourism and cross-cultural communication, persuasion, research methods, and cross-cultural communication. Currently, he is organizing the 2007 Japanese Military Sexual Slavery Tribunal and Conferences, and co-editing Rhetorical Activists and Activists Rhetoricians: How Rhetoric Contributes to Democracy
