The most unusual dimension of Business Ethics Fortnight is a unique academic/athletic competition that we call "L.A.’s Weirdest Biathlon"--a contest fashioned in the spirit of that great Latin phrase, Mens sana in corpore sano. |
This is an optional competition open to students involved in the presentation competition. There are two $500 prizes for the teams with the best combined performance in the student team presentation competition and the LMU Run for the Bay—one prize connected with the 5K and one with the 10K. At least three members of the team must run. The team’s score is based on the members’ finishing place in gender. (If more than three members run, we use the best three places in gender.) Performance in the run and performance in the presentation competition are worth 50% each in the team's final score. For more information on scoring, click here.
