Biography
Alan Cherry, a member of the College of Business Administration faculty for 25 years, is an expert in financial and managerial accounting. Prior to his arrival at Loyola Marymount University he taught at USC, the University of Maryland, CSU Los Angeles, and UCLA. Cherry is on the Editorial Board for The Advances in Accounting and The Accounting Education. He is a member of the American Accounting Association and the California Society of CPAs and is also a consultant for several law firms and the District Attorney's office. Cherry was named LMU's Accounting Society Teacher of the Year in 1999.
