More than 200 alumni, family, friends, and members of the LMU faculty and staff gathered together for a special evening at The California Club to help the LMU Alumni Association honor three distinguished alumni: Marsha L. Brown '72, President of Fu-Gen Inc. Research and Investigations, Alex Martin Chaves ’86, CEO of Parking Company of America Management, and the Honorable Frederick J. Lower ’56, JD ’64, retired Los Angeles Superior Court Judge. Fr. Robert B. Lawton praised the honorees for their professional accomplishments, their loyalty to the university, and for living the LMU mission as leaders in the community. Highlights of the evening included personal reflections from each of the honorees and a special presentation of commendations from City Controller Laura Chick, Congresswoman Maxine Waters, and Senator Diane Feinstein.
Special thanks to our alumni planning committee: Patrick Cain ’79, Ralph Consola ’87, Michael Davitt ’87, Marta Fernandez ’82, David Herbst ’91, and Gloria Michel ’97.
