Candidates must complete observation/volunteer experience in a setting working with culturally diverse youths at the age level appropriate for their teaching career (elementary or secondary education age range). Complete details and form(s) will be provided at the information session.

Requirements vary by program as follows:

• Elementary or Secondary Education Credential Only
• 20 hours with appropriate age level
• Teaching Credential Combined for Public School Intern Teachers
• 20 hours with appropriate age level
• Teaching Credential for Private School Teachers (Teacher Practitioners)
• 60 hours of observation in a PUBLIC school setting completed by the end of your culminating fieldwork experience course
