LMU's Secondary Education program prepares candidates to serve as teachers in a grade 6-12 classroom. Our 33-unit curriculum leads to a combined Master of Arts degree in Secondary Education and California SB 2042 Single Subject Preliminary credential.
Secondary Education candidates can choose from one of two programs: a traditional track program for aspiring teachers (who are not yet employed in a school as full-time teachers), and an intern/practitioner track program for those who are already employed as full-time teachers in a public, private, charter, or Catholic school.
