LMU's Teacher Preparation Program offers an Intern/Practitioner track for qualified candidates.  In contrast to traditional students who complete their coursework and student teaching prior to finding employment, interns and teacher practitioners are employed as fulltime teachers while they complete LMU's MA and Credential program.  Interns serve in public schools with an Intern Credential, while practitioners serve in private or Catholic schools.

Like traditional track students, those on the intern/practitioner track can choose to specialize in elementary (multiple subjects credential) or secondary (single subject credential) education.
