CCTC
The LMU School of Education is proudly accredited by the California Comission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC/CTC), P.O. Box 944270, Sacramento, CA 94244-2700; phone (916) 445-7254. All credential programs offered within the School of Education at Loyola Marymount University are CCTC Approved Professional Preparation Programs. The last full accreditation visit and renewal of accreditation was conducted May, 2003. The next scheduled visit will occur in 2010.

NASP
The LMU School of Education School Psychology Program is additionally accredited by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).  This presigious accreditation was received in spring 2006 and covers the school psychology credential and master's degree program.

NCATE
The LMU School of Education is also proudly accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) , 2010 Massachusetts Ave., NW, Suite 500, Washington, DC 20036; phone (202) 466-7496. This accreditation covers both initial teacher preparation programs and advanced educator preparation programs. The last full accreditation visit and renewal of accreditation was conducted May, 2003. The next scheduled visit will occur in 2010.

WASC
LMU is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), one of six regional associations that accredit public and private schools, colleges, and universities in the United States. The Senior College Commission of WASC accredits senior colleges and universities.
