Community Partners
The Center for Service and Action (CSA) serves as a liaison between the University and the community. CSA seeks to connect LMU students with non-profit agencies through community service opportunities while fostering long standing commitments and relationships with agencies through the Community Partners Program. Our goal is to connect you with our students in ways that will build your capacity and help you fulfill your mission and programs.
Every month, the Center for Service and Action sends funding opportunities, information about upcoming events and partnership opportunities.
Keep in touch with us by joining the Community Partner List Serv. Just send a request to:
LMUCP-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.
Important Note:
We have two partnership opportunities for Community Partners, please scroll down below to learn how you can get involved with the Annual Community Service Fair and the 2nd Annual Serve LA service day for First Year Students.
Annual Community Service Fair

Service Fair (12:15 - 1:30 pm)
The Center for Service and Action invites you to attend the Community Service Fair on Tuesday, September 9, 2008. Our goal is to connect you with our students in ways that will build your capacity and help you fulfill your mission and programs.
We ask all of our Community Partners to send at least ONE representative to the fair. Although your organization may not need volunteers, we hope you can benefit from the exposure and education your organization provides our faculty, staff and students.
CSA will provide you with a 6 to 8 foot table for display materials and a special invitation to the famous community brunch for two recruiters from your organization. Additional lunches are $7 each. Spaces will be reserved as the confirmation forms are received.
To register, please complete the registration form below before August 8, 2008.
