Articulation Agreements

An articulation agreement is a list of courses from another academic institution that are transferable to LMU.  These agreements are designed help students to identify which courses can apply towards a baccalaureate degree program.

Each agreement is divided into three sections:

Core Requirements
The core requirements encourage intellectual breadth by acquainting students with major areas of knowledge that will prepare students for life.

Lower Division Major Requirements
The lower division major requirements count towards an undergraduate degree by satisfying the criteria for the major programs specific to each College or School.

Summary of Transferable Courses
The summary page lists the courses that transfer to LMU by LMU Department.  It will tell you what baccalaureate degree requirements the course fulfills.

The Existing Histories database can be viewed to see how courses from non-articulated schools have transferred in the past.  Since these are not articulated courses, they may not necessarily transfer in the same way.
