African American Alumni Alumni Scholarship Dinner

200 alumni, students, faculty and leaders from the community gathered to raise money for the African American Alumni Association Scholarship Fund. Keynote speaker Rosemary Turner ‘84 spoke about her experiences at LMU and the journey to where she currently stands as UPS Vice President. Rosemary Turner also received the William L. Strickland Award for Excellence in Business. Others who participated in the program included California Senator Kevin Murray MBA `83, JD `87, LMU Regent William L. Strickland `71, LMU Trustee Irma Brown Dillon `70, JD `73 who served as emcee, and Ronalda Lombardo `74. The Scholarship fund will try to raise $30,000 by the end of May, 2005.
