Current and retrospective index of approximately 8,700 research journals. Web of Science  provides a unique search method, cited reference searching. With it, users can navigate forward, backward, and through the literature, searching all disciplines and time spans to uncover all the information relevant to their research. Users can also navigate to electronic full-text journal articles. Web of Science includes Science Citation Index Expanded . A tutorial for the Web of Science can be found here .

IEEE Xplore
Publications of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). LMU has access to all the journals from 1998-present. If you need an older journal article or a paper from a conference, request them through our Document Delivery Service .

Indexes over 1800 academic journals published by Elsevier, most in science, technology, & medicine (STM). Many will be full text articles. The ones we do not have the full text rights to may be available via our Document Delivery Service .

Over 800 Engineering handbooks and reference titles from CRC Press. Can be browsed by category or searched by keyword. Broad coverage of various engineering subfields. Includes CivilENGINEERING net BASE , ElectricalENGINEERING net BASE , ENG net BASE , MechanicalENGINEERING net BASE , and TELECOMMUNICATIONS net BASE collections.

ebrary
Full text to over 30,000 books in many disciplines from leading academic and professional publishers. Most titles are from the past five years. Includes many computer programming books. Requires the free ebrary Reader  to view books.
