Green LMU

  • Started recycling in 1990; first campus-wide collegiate recycling program in California, 1993

  • LMU's solar rooftop systems, on University Hall and Von der Ahe Library, won a federal Green Power Award in 2003.
  • About half the campus uses reclaimed water for irrigation.
