The Mane Event: A Guide to Registration is provided by the Office of the Registrar to familiarize students with the registration process at Loyola Marymount University. It is meant to be a guide for the student by providing answers to frequently asked questions. Academic policies which may influence registration are defined in an abbreviated format. The University Bulletin is the source for complete information regarding these academic policies. Bulletins may be found online and are distributed free of charge through the Office of the Registrar.

The Schedule of Classes at LMU is made available online approximately two weeks prior to the beginning of registration for the upcoming semester as noted in the academic calendar. It is updated in real-time with class meeting time changes, room reassignments, course cancellations and additions, and enrollment availability.
