Citywide Public Opinion Poll, 2002
TO MARK the tenth anniversary of the 1992 Los Angeles riots, the Center conducted 20-minute telephone interviews with 1,600 randomly selected adults residing in the City of LA. Topics included residents’ perceptions of the most important issues facing Los Angeles and the area’s quality of life, opinions of the police department, ratings of civic leaders and civic institutions, and perceptions of ethnic relations.
